The Scogo "CL Custom"

    The "CL custom" is my own custom guitar project.
    The body shape and headstock shapes are my own
    design as well as all the wood selections, electronics,
    and componants. While theres nothing in my design
    that represents a significant departure from traditional
    solid body electric guitar designs, nonetheless
    it is still my own original design and totally unique.
    Since I dont have the expertise, nor do I have the facilities
    or tools required to build it, I found a luthier, Scott Gordon
    of Scogo Guitars, that builds one-of-a-kind guitars entirely
    by hand and commissioned him to build my design entirely
    from scratch. No precut, stock, or factory made wood parts
    at all. It literally began on his bench with a couple blocks of
    Mahogany, Maple, and Ebony. No veneers here. All solid blocks of wood.

    These are the project specifications:

    * Solid Mahogany body
    * Highly figured (flame) Fiddleback Maple top plate
    * Mahogany neck with neck-thru-body design w/ graphite stiffeners
    * 24 fret fingerboard with medium jumbo stainless steel fret wire
    * Gaboon Ebony fingerboard with Agoya shell inlay
    * Buzz Feiton tuning system
    * Seymour Duncan AHB-1 Blackout pickups for bridge and middle
    * EMG SA single coil pickup for the neck position
    * 5 position pickup selector
    * Original Floyd Rose Tremolo system
    * Hipshot Tremsetter tremolo stabilizer.
    * Gotoh 510 21:1 locking tuning machines.
    * Mil Spec high duty cycle pots

The images where the top appears wet and tinted orange are due to naptha being brushed on to show the
figure. It will be much more pronounced when complete
