DPMS Panther Arms LR-308C This semi-automatic rifle (formerly designated TAC 20) is chambered in 7.62NATO (7.62x51mm) and built on the classic AR-10 design (Armalite)

This weapon can also fire the inestimable .308 Winchester cartridge

Description

Barrel:

   * 20" Length
   * 4140 Chrome-moly steel heavy barrel
   * 6 grooves, right-hand 1x10 twist,
     button rifled
   * 308 Panther Flash Hider

Chamber:

   * 7.62 NATO (7.62x51mm)

Method of Operation:

   * Gas operated rotating bolt

Bolt & Carrier:

   * 8620 steel bolt carrier, heat treated
     and plated per Mil Spec
   * Phosphated steel bolt, heat treated
     and plated per Mil Spec

Sights:

   * Standard A2 front sight assembly

Weight:

   * Empty – 11.15 lbs.

   * 41 1/4"

Upper Receiver:

   * A3-Style Flattop w/ 308 detachable carrying handle, thick walled, 
     extruded from 6066-T6 aluminum
   * Hard coat anodized per Mil Spec and Teflon® coated black
   * Dust cover
   * Shell deflector
   * Forward assist
   * Right hand ejection

Lower Receiver:

   * Milled from a solid billet of 6061-T6 aluminum
   * Hard coat anodized per Mil Spec and Teflon® coated black
   * Integral trigger guard
